My Design Philosophy
With 33 years in the hospitality design industry, I’ve always believed that great design is about more than just creating beautiful spaces – it’s about crafting environments that work, flow, and make people feel something. I’m passionate about the intersection of function and form. Every design decision should enhance the user experience, whether it’s through intuitive layouts, thoughtful materials, or seamless integration of technology.
For me, design is a collaborative process, and I thrive in an environment where I can work alongside a dedicated team. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing ideas come to life through the combined efforts of a talented group of individuals.
Building strong, lasting relationships is the foundation of both the work we do and the relationships we build with clients. Listening closely to their vision, understanding their needs, and working together to bring their ideas to life is what makes each project meaningful. I’m committed to delivering not just great spaces, but experiences that leave a lasting impression – for the people who use them and for the clients who trust us to create them.

Here is one of my favorite quotes:
"I don't think inspiration just comes from the sky. I thnk you have to sit down and you have to work. Sometimes it's really hard, and sometimes things come easier, but you really have to show up, you have to get to work and you have to have determination." - Tara Donovan

Beyond Design
When I'm not transforming interiors, you might find me at my family's lakefront cottage in Lewiston, soaking up the Michigan summer sun. I'm also known for my legendary chocolate chip cookies – they're a hit with family & friends!
As a mother of two, I understand the importance of creating spaces that work for real life. This perspective infuses my work with a practical touch that complements the aesthetics.
At Fuller Design, we don't just create spaces – we craft experiences.
